It was a great evening for center Khaalia Hillsman (195-1996, college: Texas A&M) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points. Guard Rachel Howard (178-1995, college: USF) helped adding 15 points. Fuerza Regia's coach Carlos Alonso used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Taylor Wurtz (183-1990, college: Wisconsin) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Panteras will play next round against strong Halcones trying to get back on the winning streak. Fuerza Regia will try to continue on its current victory against Abejas in Leon.
Important game to mention about took place in Irapuato. Freseras (3-3) saved a 3-point victory at home edging Abejas (2-4) 76-73 on Saturday evening. It was an exceptional evening for Haitian swingman Jessica Fequiere (180-1993, college: Albany) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Sierra Moore accounted for 13 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Freseras' coach Felipe Becerra allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American swingman Najiyyah Pack-Maddox (178-1998, college: NM State) came up with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for Abejas in the defeat. Freseras will play against Santas (#9) in Potosi in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Abejas will play at home against Fuerza Regia and hope to get back on the winning track.

Halcones managed to outperform Rojas in a home game 75-67. Winless Santas recorded a loss to Correcaminos on the road 74-64. Freseras defeated Abejas on its own court 80-66. Rojas were beaten by Halcones in Xalapa 77-59.
