Boothe number one in Mexican LNBPF for round 3

American Power forward Sarah Boothe (195-F/C-1990) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Correcaminos, receiving a Hoops Agents LNBPF Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds, while her team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Santas (#9, 0-4) with 19-point margin 87-68. Correcaminos maintains the 8th position in Mexican LNBPF. Correcaminos is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 2-4 record. In the team's last game Boothe had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. She just recently signed at Correcaminos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Stanford University star has very solid stats this year. Boothe is in league's top in points (3rd best: 19.5ppg).

The second best player in last round's games was young American Sierra Moore (180-G-1994) of Freseras Irapuato. Moore had a very good evening with a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for Freseras to edge Abejas (2-4) 76-73. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Moore is one of the most experienced players at Freseras and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 10.5ppg (#5). Her other stats are also decent: 8.5rpg and 3.5apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Correcaminos' star - American forward Javyn Nicholson (188-F). Nicholson showcased her all-around game by recording 17 points, 19 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Correcaminos, helping her team with a 74-64 win against Santas (#9, 0-4). The chances of Correcaminos not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 4 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Nicholson could try to bring Correcaminos' a little bit higher in the standings. Nicholson has a very solid season. In 2 games in Mexico she scored 9.5ppg.
