Church is back at Rojas, ex Hainaut

Deja Church

Rojas de Veracruz (LNBPF) signed 26-year old American guard Deja Church (178cm-1998, college: DePaul). It is actually her comeback to Veracruz as she has played here before. She moved there from Hainaut in French LFB league. In 8 games she had 9.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.6apg and 1.1spg last season. She also played for Iraklis in Greek league.
Church is a highly experienced player who has played professionally in four different countries on three different continents - Europe, Latin America, and North America. She has previously played in Chile for Leones, as well as in Greece and Sweden for IK Eos.
Between many awards, her college team won the Big East Tournament in 2020. She was voted to the All-Big East Honorable Mention in 2022.
Church graduated from De Paul University in 2022 and it is her second season as a pro player. She played also for University of Michigan for 2 years.
