Moore's double-double lands her LNBPF Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

29-year old American guard Sierra Moore (180-G-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for Freseras Irapuato and receives a Hoops Agents LNBPF Player of the Week award for round 5.
She had a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds, while her team edged out Adelitas (#2, 7-1) 73-69. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Freseras maintains the 4th position in Mexican league. Freseras is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-5 record. Moore just recently signed at Freseras, being already a very valuable addition to the team. The Pennsylvania State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moore is in league's top in points (6th best: 11.3ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 9.0rpg) and assists (8th best: 3.8apg).

Second best performed player last round was Stasha Carey (188-F-1995) of Rojas de Veracruz. She is American forward in her first season at Rojas. In the last game Carey recorded an impressive double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Rojas to edge slightly lower-ranked Panteras (#6, 4-6) by 2 points 57-55. This victory allowed Rojas to move up to 5th position in the standings. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 4-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Carey is one of the most experienced players at Rojas and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Lauren Manis (185-PF-1998) of Halcones de Xalapa (#3). Manis scored 21 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. She was a key player of Halcones, leading her team to a 87-73 easy win against the lower-ranked Abejas (#8, 2-8). Halcones needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 2 lost games. Manis has a very solid season. In 7 games in Mexico she scored 10.1ppg.

10. Jessica Fequiere (180-G/F-1993) of Freseras - 24 points and 6 rebounds
