Sosnowiec signs Kamila Borkowska

Kamila Borkowska

MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec (OBLK) signed 21-year old Polish international center Kamila Borkowska (201cm-2002) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. She played last season at Panteras in the Mexican LNBPF. In 13 games recently, she had 6.7ppg, 6.1rpg, and 1.2bpg. Previously, she played at VBW Arka Gdynia. She also played 26 games in the Polish OBLK, where she recorded 10.2ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.7apg, and 2.0bpg. Borkowska helped them reach the semifinals. The 2023-24 season was great for her as she was named to Eurobasket.com Polish OBLK All-Domestic Players Team, League Player of the Week, and Eurobasket.com All-Polish OBLK Second Team.
She has also been a member of the Polish international program for some years. Borkowska has regularly played for the Polish senior team since 2020 and two years ago for the U22 National Team.
She represented Poland at the World University Games in Chengdu (China) last year. During this event, she scored an average of 12.2 ppg and had 10.6 rpg.
Borkowska has played previously for three other Polish teams: Lomianki, GTK Gdynia, and SMS II Lomianki.
She won the Polish BLK championship title in 2021. She was voted to the Eurobasket.com Polish EBLK All-Domestic Players Team in 2023.
