Tate's 19 points and 6 assists give her Hoops Agents LNBPF Player of the Week award

29-year old USA-ISVn swingman Imani Tate (175-G/F-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for Halcones de Xalapa and receives a Hoops Agents LNBPF Player of the Week award for round 11.
She had the game-high 19 points adding six rebounds and six assists for Halcones in her team's victory, helping them to beat Rojas (#6, 7-11) 71-65. Halcones maintains the 3rd position in Mexican league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Halcones will need more victories to improve their 13-5 record. Tate has many years of experience at Halcones, through which she has constantly improved. University at Albany graduate has very impressive stats this year. Tate is in league's top in points (8th best: 15.1ppg) and assists (7th best: 3.7apg).

Second best performed player last round was Stephanie Kostowicz (188-F/C-1995) of Panteras de Aguascalientes. She is American forward in her first season at Panteras. In the last game Kostowicz recorded an impressive 26 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Panteras was edged by the higher-ranked Fuerza Regia (#2, 14-4) 98-95. Panteras is still second from the bottom in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-12 record. Kostowicz is one of the most experienced players at Panteras and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Brittany Byrd (176-G-1997) of Correcaminos (#4). Byrd showcased her all-around game by recording 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Byrd's great performance the Correcaminos lost 67-73 to Santas (8-10). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Correcaminos ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 10 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Byrd could help Correcaminos to bring them higher in the standings. Byrd has a great season in Mexico. After 17 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.9ppg (best scorer).
