Rojas - Halcones 68-70

Halcones made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for South Sudanese-Canadian power forward Adut Bulgak (193-1992, college: FSU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. American-U.S. Virgin Islands swingman Imani Tate (175-1995, college: Albany) accounted for 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. American swingman Naomi Davenport (180, college: WVU) came up with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Canadian guard Shaina Pellington (173-1999, college: Arizona) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Rojas in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Freseras outrebounded Adelitas 50-39 including 19 on the offensive glass. Freseras looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American power forward Sidney Cooks (193-1998, college: Seton Hall) who led her team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Her fellow American import guard Sierra Moore (180-1994, college: Penn State) helped adding 13 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American-Jordanian guard Aisha Sheppard (175-1998, college: Virginia Tech) with 29 points and 5 rebounds and American-Cameroonian guard Jessica Thomas (168-1994, college: Miami, FL) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists.

Santas dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Correcaminos' 34. The best player for the winners was Salvadorean Hillary Martinez (172-1997) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. American swingman Jazmine Jones (183-1996, college: Louisville) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Santas' coach Manuel Cintron used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Shaylee Gonzales (178-2000, college: Texas) who recorded 17 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import center Shelby Cheslek (196-1992, college: Gonzaga, agency: LBM Management) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Five Santas and four Correcaminos players scored in double figures.
