Elijah Clarance was the second top scorer in the whole world yesterday having an unbelievable 36 points in his last game in the Dorados

36 points scored by 26 year old Swedish guard Elijah Clarance (194-G-1998, college: Illinois St.) resulted in being the second highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Dorados lost to the Mineros 83 to 88. He is the best scorer in the league averaging over 24 points and almost 4 rebounds per game. As you can see the league is dominated by ex-college players where 8 out of 10 best scorers graduated U.S. schools.
He is a very experienced player. Clarance has played also professionally in Croatia (Osijek), Germany, Holland, Hungary, Latvia and Montenegro (Lovcen).
He also represented Sweden at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2021 Pre-Qualifiers five years ago.
Among many awards he won the Latvian League championship title in 2023. He was selected to the Eurobasket.com All-European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) Under 20 Second Team back in 2018. Clarance was also selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Adriatic League 2 Third Team in 2022. He was selected as the Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Pro B Honorable Mention back in 2019.
