American Guard Jordan Goldwire (188-G-1999, agency: BMS Sport Agency) put on an amazing game in the last round for Lobos Plateados de la BUAP, receiving a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Plateros (#5, 4-2) 87-79. Lobos BUAP maintains the 10th position in Mexican LNBP. Lobos BUAP is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-3 record. In the team's last game Goldwire had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Lobos BUAP, through which he has constantly improved. Former The University of Oklahoma star has very solid stats this year. Goldwire is in league's top in points (4th best: 17.2ppg), rebounds (8th best: 6.5rpg) and averages impressive 2.2spg and 62.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Kevin Allen (211-C-1994, agency: BIG) of Santos de San Luis Potosi. Allen had a very good evening with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as Santos lost that game 84-97 to slightly lower-ranked Halc.Xalapa (#11, 2-1). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Santos dropped in the standings to 9th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Allen is one of the most experienced players at Santos and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.3ppg (#9). He also registered 6.2 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Anthony Tarke (201-F-1998) of Freseras Irapuato (#12). Tarke scored 20 points. Despite Tarke's great performance the Freseras lost 88-94 to the higher-ranked Panteras (#8, 3-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Freseras can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Tarke has a very solid season. In 2 games in Mexico he scored 14.0ppg.
