Fuerza Regia looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Jaime Nared (188-1995, college: Tennessee) stepped up and scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and her fellow American import center Khaalia Hillsman (196-1996, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. American-Azerbaijani forward Brianna Fraser (190-1997, college: Maryland) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and Australian guard Madeleine Garrick (180-1992) scored 15 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
