Speight's 22 points and 7 assists give him LNBP Player of the Week award

26-year old American point guard Micah Speight (178-PG-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Fuerza Regia Monterrey and receives a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had the game-high 22 points adding four rebounds and seven assists for Fuerza Regia in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Plateros (#12, 4-6) with 26-point margin 97-71. It allowed Fuerza Regia to take over top position in the Mexican LNBP. Fuerza Regia has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 9-1. In the team's last game Speight had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Fuerza Regia's top player in his first season with the team. Southern Nazarene University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Speight is in league's top in assists (7th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 2.2spg and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Michael Bryson (193-G-1994) of Plateros de Fresnillo. He is American guard in his first season at Plateros. In the last game Bryson recorded an impressive 27 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Plateros lost that game 71-97 to the higher-ranked Fuerza Regia (#1, 9-1). This loss caused Plateros to drop to 12th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Bryson is a newcomer at Plateros and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Jordan Swing (198-G-1990) of Soles de Mexicali (#11). Swing scored 19 points and passed 6 assists. He was a key player of Soles, leading his team to a 100-80 easy win against Abejas (#16, 0-8). The chances of Soles ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Swing could help Soles to bring them higher in the standings. Swing has a great season in Mexico. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.2ppg (4th best). He also has a FGP of 59.6% and 3PT: 43.1%.
