Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Fuerza Regia as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Fuerza Regia defeated 9th ranked Plateros in Monterrey 86-79. Fuerza Regia made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 29 Plateros turnovers. Fuerza Regia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Wayne Langston (200-1993, college: Murray St.) stepped up and scored 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and guard Kendrick Ray (188-1994, college: KSU) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side guard Christian Harvey (185, college: Marian, IN) responded with 16 points. Fuerza Regia (9-1) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Plateros lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. They share the position with Lobos BUAP and Soles. Plateros will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Fuerza Regia will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Panteras in Aguascalientes.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Mineros (7-3) against seventh ranked Panteras (6-4) on Sunday night. Host Mineros were defeated by Panteras in Zacatecas 78-66. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Mineros. Brazilian Wesley Ferreira (201-1995) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Stedmon Lemon accounted for 23 points and 6 rebounds. American point guard DaQuan Bracey (180-1997, college: La Tech) came up with 17 points for Mineros in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Panteras moved-up to fifth place. Mineros at the other side keep the third position with three games lost. They share it with Diablos. Panteras will play against league's leader Fuerza Regia in Monterrey in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mineros will play on the road against Lobos BUAP in Puebla and hope to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Abejas (0-8) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to twelfth ranked Soles (4-6) 88-71 on Sunday evening. Erik Thomas fired 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Torren Jones produced 18 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Soles. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Lobos BUAP and Plateros. Abejas lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. Soles will meet at home higher ranked Diablos (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Abejas will play against El Calor (#9) in Cancun and hope to get finally their first victory.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 13: Halc.Xalapa lost to Diablos on the opponent's court 65-80. Astros managed to outperform Dorados in a home game 94-83. Freseras recorded a loss to Lobos BUAP on the road 100-91. Halc.Rojos defeated Correcaminos on its own court 88-86. El Calor was beaten by Santos in San Luis Potosi 98-83.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 20 points and 12 rebounds by Johnny Hughes III of Santos.




Diablos - Halc.Xalapa 80-65

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Halcones UV Xalapa (5-2) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Diablos (7-3) 80-65 on Sunday. The former international center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HCU) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. American guard Avry Holmes (185-1994, college: Clemson) chipped in 15 points. Four Diablos players scored in double figures. Senegalese-American guard Clevin Hannah (179-1987, college: Wichita St.) produced 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Georgian guard Thad McFadden (188-1987, college: Fairmont St.) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Diablos moved-up to third place, which they share with Mineros. Loser Halcones UV Xalapa keeps the sixth position with two games lost. Diablos will meet Soles (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Halc.Xalapa will have a break next round.

Swedish guard Elijah Clarance (194-1998, college: Illinois St.) produced 28 points and 8 rebounds and American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech) added 18 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Astros. They maintain second place with 8-1 record behind leader Fuerza Regia. Loser Dorados dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Santos and El Calor. Astros will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dorados will play against Santos (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
