36-year old USA-MEXn guard Karim Rodriguez (196-G-1988) had a very impressive game in the last round for Lobos Plateados de la BUAP and receives a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had the game-high 26 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Lobos BUAP in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Mineros (#4, 8-4) 86-82. Lobos BUAP maintains the 11th position in Mexican LNBP. Lobos BUAP is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-7 record. In the team's last game Rodriguez had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Lobos BUAP's top player in his first season with the team. Karim Rodriguez averages this season 13.9ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Kwame Alexander (201-F/C-1990, agency: BIG) of Plateros de Fresnillo. He is American forward in his first season at Plateros. In the last game Alexander recorded an impressive double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for Plateros to edge the lower-ranked Halc.Rojos (#15, 2-8) by 3 points 85-82. This victory allowed Plateros to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 6-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Alexander is a newcomer at Plateros and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Javion Ogunyemi (206-F/C-1995) of Halcones Rojos de Veracruz (#15). Ogunyemi scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Ogunyemi's great performance the Halcones Rojos lost 82-85 to the higher-ranked Plateros (#8, 6-6). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Halc.Rojos can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-8 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Ogunyemi has individually a great season in Mexico. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.5rpg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Lucas N'Guessan (213-C-1997) of Astros - 16 points and 11 rebounds
5. Gabriel Giron (192-SG-1988) of Halc.Xalapa - 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
