Archie Goodwin signs at El Calor

Archie Goodwin

El Calor de Cancun (LNBP) signed 30-year-old American 196cm guard Archie Goodwin (college: Kentucky). He competed during the summer with Eberlein Drive (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In 5 TBT games, he averaged 13.8ppg, 3.6rpg, 4.0apg, and 1.4spg. Goodwin played for various teams last season, finishing with Rockets (CBA) in the Chinese league. He also had a stint with Beirut Club (LBL) in the Lebanese league.
In 2013, he was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA) in the first round (29th overall). He attended the University of Kentucky, and it will be his 13th season in pro basketball.
Goodwin is a very experienced player, having played professionally in eleven different countries on four different continents thanks to pro basketball. He has experience in European, Asian, Latin American, and North American leagues. Goodwin has played for teams in China, France, Germany, Israel, Lebanon, Puerto Rico, Turkey, Ukraine, NBA, NBA G League, and The Basketball Tournament. His team reached the Semifinals in The Basketball Tournament in 2024.
He was voted to the Turkish League All-Star Game in 2020.
