Fuerza Regia Monterrey (LNBP) signed 34-year-old American forward James Ellisor, who stands at 195cm and played college basketball at Bemidji State. Last season, he was the second-highest scorer at Stjarnan in the Icelandic Subway League, averaging 16.9ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.0apg, and 1.2spg in 19 games. He contributed to their success in reaching the Icelandic Cup Semifinals.
Ellisor is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in France (Quimper UJAP), Portugal (Benfica, Sporting, and Oliveirense), Russia (Planeta-Universitet Ukhta), and Spain (Coviran Granada).
Ellisor's team made it to the Portuguese final in 2023. Ellisor was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Honorable Mention in 2020.
He graduated from Bemidji State in 2012 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball. Ellisor played also for Glendale Community College Maricopa for one year.
