Charles Mitchell was the second top scorer in the whole world yesterday having an unbelievable 30 points in his last game in the Dorados

30 points scored by 31 year old American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-F/C-1993, college: Georgia Tech) gave him the award of second highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Dorados beat the Abejas 84 to 80. On top of that he also recorded 13 rebounds and 3 assists that evening.
He is a very experienced player. He is quite the traveller as his pro career brought him to eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Ferro and Regatas), Holland (Den Bosch), Japan (Niigata Albirex), Mexico, Taiwan (Bank of Taiwan), Uruguay (Nacional and Urunday), The Basketball Tournament (Angel's Atlanta, Cititeam and Team 23), and Czech Republic (Olomoucko).
Among many awards he played in the final of the Uruguay LUB in 2021. Mitchell was selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Czech Republic League First Team as well as the All-Imports Team back in 2018. He was selected to the Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Second Team back in 2019. Mitchell was also selected as the Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese SBL Honorable Mention back in 2020. He was also best scorer in the league last season while he had played for Urunday Universitario Montevideo when he scored over 18 points per game.
