Hannah's double-double lands him LNBP Player of the Week award

37-year old SEN-USAn guard Clevin Hannah (179-G-1987) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Halcones UV Xalapa and receives a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 22.
He got a double-double of 21 points and 10 assists, while his team edged out Dorados (#7, 10-8) 104-103. Halcones UV Xalapa maintains the 2nd position in Mexican LNBP. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Halc.Xalapa will need more victories to improve their 13-4 record. In the team's last game Hannah had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Wichita State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hannah is in league's top in assists (9th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 66.0% FGP and 53.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Charles Mitchell (203-F/C-1993) of Dorados de Chihuahua. He is American forward in his first season at Dorados. In the last game Mitchell recorded an impressive 26 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Dorados was edged by the higher-ranked Halc.Xalapa (#2, 13-4) 104-103. This loss caused Dorados to drop to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 10-8 record is not bad and everything may still change. Mitchell is a newcomer at Dorados and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Deshawndre Washington (201-G) of Halcones Rojos de Veracruz (#11). Washington scored 23 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was a key player of Halcones Rojos, leading his team to a 84-63 easy win against the higher-ranked Mineros (#8, 9-9). The chances of Halc.Rojos not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Washington could try to bring Halc.Rojos' a little bit higher in the standings. Washington has a very solid season. In 8 games in Mexico he scored 25.3ppg. He also has 6.5rpg, 4.5apg and a FGP of 57.9%.
