Best players of Mexican LNBP round 27

American Michael Watkins (206-F-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for Soles de Mexicali and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 27.
The 29-year old forward had a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed Correcaminos (#15, 5-17) with 34-point margin 94-60. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Soles maintains the 9th position in Mexican LNBP. Soles is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 11-11 record. Washington is a newcomer at Halc.Rojos and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.8ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 7.0rpg and 3.9apg.

The third best performed player last round was Puerto Rican Jesus Cruz (196-SG-1998) of Santos de San Luis Potosi (#8). Cruz scored 17 points and passed 4 assists. He was a key player of Santos, leading his team to a 107-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Mineros (#12, 9-13). Santos needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 10 lost games. Cruz has a very solid season. In 6 games in Mexico he scored 10.2ppg.
