Best players of Mexican LNBP round 30

American Deshawndre Washington (201-G) had a very impressive game in the last round for Halcones Rojos de Veracruz and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 30.
The guard had the game-high 40 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Halc.Rojos in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Astros (#2, 16-7) 98-95. Halcones Rojos is placed at 10th position in Mexican LNBP. Halc.Rojos is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-14 record. Washington turned to be Halcones Rojos' top player in his first season with the team. New Mexico State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Washington is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.1ppg. Washington is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 7.3rpg) and averages solid 51.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Puerto Rican point guard Jorge Pacheco (188-PG-1998, agency: Octagon Europe) of Mineros de Zacatecas. Pacheco impressed basketball fans with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Bad luck as Mineros lost that game 76-83 to the lower-ranked Abejas (#16, 4-19). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Mineros dropped in the standings to 12th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-14 record. Pacheco is a newcomer at Mineros and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American forward Fabian Jaimes (198-PF-1992) of Panteras de Aguascalientes (#5). Jaimes scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Panteras, leading his team to a 100-92 win against slightly higher-ranked Halc.Xalapa (#3, 16-7). Panteras needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 8 lost games. Jaimes has a very solid season. In 24 games in Mexico he scored 8.8ppg. He also has 6.6rpg and a FGP of 52.7%. Fabian Jaimes has also Mexican passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
