Washington number one in Mexican LNBP for round 32 (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Deshawndre Washington (201-G) put on an amazing game in the last round for Halcones Rojos de Veracruz, receiving a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 32.
The player was the main contributor (31 points, five rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Santos (12-14) 92-81. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Halcones Rojos is placed at 9th position in Mexican LNBP. Halc.Rojos is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-14 record. In the team's last game Washington had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Halcones Rojos' top player in his first season with the team. Former New Mexico State University star has very solid stats this year. Washington is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.6ppg. Washington is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 7.1rpg) and averages impressive 52.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jimond Ivey (196-G-1996) of Freseras Irapuato. Ivey had a very good evening with 33 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.5ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 4.3rpg and 4.3apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Tre McCallum (201-F-1995, agency: MSG) of league's second-best Astros de Jalisco. McCallum scored 24 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was a key player of Astros, leading his team to a 94-89 win against the lower-ranked Freseras (#12, 10-16). Astros needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 18 victories and 7 lost games. McCallum has a very solid season. In 24 games in Mexico he scored 10.1ppg.
