30-year old USA-PURn shooting guard Jaysean Paige (188-SG-1994) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Fuerza Regia Monterrey and receives a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 34.
He had the game-high 29 points adding seven rebounds and five assists for Fuerza Regia in his team's victory, helping them to beat Diablos (#4, 19-9) 100-87. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Fuerza Regia to consolidate first place in the Mexican LNBP. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Fuerza Regia has a very solid 21-7 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Paige had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Fuerza Regia's top player in his first season with the team. Jaysean Paige averages just after two games 23.5ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Edgaras Zelionis (207-PF-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) of El Calor de Cancun. He is Lithuanian forward in his first season at El Calor. In the last game Zelionis recorded an impressive double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led El Calor to another comfortable win outscoring the higher-ranked Panteras (#5, 17-11) 88-61. This victory allowed El Calor to move up to 10th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 13-15 record. Zelionis is a newcomer at El Calor and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Karim Rodriguez (196-G-1988) of Lobos Plateados de la BUAP (#14). Rodriguez got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. Despite Rodriguez's great performance the Lobos BUAP lost 103-110 to the higher-ranked Soles (#8, 15-13). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Lobos BUAP can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 7-21 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Rodriguez has a very solid season. In 27 games in Mexico he scored 12.9ppg. He also has 3.4apg and a FGP of 53.4%. Karim Rodriguez has also Mexican passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
