Best players of Mexican LNBP round 36

Experienced Dominican Rep. Rigoberto Mendoza (191-SG-1992, agency: BMS Sport Agency) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Astros de Jalisco and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 36.
The 32-year old shooting guard had the game-high 22 points adding four rebounds and six assists for Astros in his team's victory, helping them to beat Abejas (#15, 7-23) 120-109. Astros maintains the 2nd position in Mexican LNBP. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Astros will need more victories to improve their 22-8 record. In the team's last game Mendoza had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Astros' top player in his first season with the team. Rigoberto Mendoza averages this season 12.2ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Croatian point guard Nikolas Tomsick (183-PG-1991) of Abejas de Leon. Tomsick impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 10 assists. Bad luck as Abejas lost that game 109-120 to the higher-ranked Astros (#2, 22-8). Despite lost game Abejas moved up to 15th position in the standings. 23 lost games are too many comparing to just seven victories Abejas managed to get this year. Tomsick is a newcomer at Abejas and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Jalen Adaway (196-G-1998) of top-ranked Fuerza Regia Monterrey. Adaway scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Fuerza Regia, leading his team to a 85-83 win against #4 ranked Halc.Xalapa in a game of the week. Fuerza Regia confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 23 victories and 7 lost games. Adaway has a very solid season. In 11 games in Mexico he scored 15.8ppg. He also has 8.2rpg, a FGP of 56.0% and 3PT: 45.0%.
