Daniel Hamilton joins Culiacan- February 1, 2025
In 2016 he was drafted by Denver Nuggets (NBA) in second round (56th overall). He graduated from University of Connecticut and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. Hamilton is quite experienced player. Hamilton's career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in ten different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. Hamilton has played previously professionally in Dominican Republic (San Carlos and Reales), Greece (Ionikos), Latvia (VEF Riga), Puerto Rico (Mets), Turkey (Bursaspor and Petkimspor), Uruguay (Malvin), NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and OKC Thunder), NBA G League (OKC Blue, RGV Vipers, College Park SkyHawks and San Diego Clippers) and The Basketball Tournament (Living the Dream). Among many awards he won NBA G League championship title in 2019. He was also voted All-AAC Rookie of the Year back in 2015 at his college time.
