Best players of Mexican LMBPF round 6

Experienced International Point guard Paola Beltran (164-PG-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Libelulas and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 30-year old playmaker had the game-high 25 points adding four rebounds and four assists for Libelulas in her team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Penguins (#9, 0-6) with 63-point margin 103-40. Libelulas is placed at 2nd position in Mexican LMBPF. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Libelulas will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. In the team's last game Beltran had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. She just recently signed at Libelulas, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Beltran has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in assists (5th best: 3.8apg) and averages solid 61.3% FGP and 44.7% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was international Gabriela Castrejon of Las Avispas. Castrejon impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Las Avispas lost that game 64-76 to slightly higher-ranked Univ. Modelo (#3, 5-1). Despite lost game Las Avispas moved up to 5th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Castrejon is a newcomer at Las Avispas and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Yulissa Moran of Universidad Modelo (#3). Moran scored 15 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Univ. Modelo, leading her team to a 76-64 win against slightly lower-ranked Las Avispas (#5, 2-4). Moran has a great season in Mexico. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.8rpg (#1 in league).

8. Alma Dominguez (163-G-1997) of Mineras - 14 points and 4 rebounds
9. Mayra Gil (174-G-2003) of Mieleras - 13 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Yayma Boulet (193-C-1984) of Libelulas - 14 points and 7 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
