Boulet's 22 points give her Player of the Week award

40-year old Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-C-1984) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Libelulas and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
She had the game-high 22 points adding five rebounds for Libelulas in her team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Penguins (#9, 0-6) with 66-point margin 102-36. Libelulas is placed at 2nd position in Mexican LMBPF. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Libelulas will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. Boulet just recently signed at Libelulas, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Boulet has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (5th best: 15.9ppg) and averages solid 58.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Gladiana Avila. She is a in her first season at Libelulas. In the last game Avila recorded an impressive 25 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course together with Boulet she helped Libelulas with another comfortable win outscoring Penguins (#9, 0-6) 102-36. This victory allowed Libelulas to move up to second position in the standings. Her team's 6-2 record is not bad at all. Avila is one of the most experienced players at Libelulas and similarly like Yayma Boulet has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.1ppg (#3). She also registered 4.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Kimberly Aguilar (182-PF-1997) of league's leader Mieleras de Guanajuato. Aguilar scored 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. She was a key player of Mieleras, leading her team to a 86-57 easy win against the lower-ranked Toritas (#7, 2-6). Mieleras have amazing season winning all 8 games without a single defeat. Aguilar turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Aguilar has a very solid season.
