Amman United inks Troy Baxter Jr

Troy Baxter

Amman United (Premier League) agreed terms with 28-year old American power forward Troy Baxter Jr. (206cm-91kg-1996, college: Morgan State). He just played at Indomables in Mexican LBE league. In four games just recently he had 12.0ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.3apg this season.
He is quite experienced player. Baxter has played in eleven different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Canada (Surge), Dominican Republic (Indios), Lebanon (Antranik), New Zealand (Jets and Rams), Paraguay (San Jose), Uruguay (Trouville), Bulgaria (CSKA Sofia), NBA G League (OKC Blue, Indiana Mad Ants, Grand Rapids Gold, Westchester Knicks and Windy City Bulls), The Basketball Tournament (GCG) and Mongolia (Khatsaga).
Among many awards he won New Zealand NBL championship title in 2023. Baxter was voted to MEAC All-Defensive Team back in 2021 at his college time.
He graduated from Morgan State in 2021 and it is his fourth season as a professional player. Baxter played for other colleges like: Florida Gulf Coast University, University of Nevada - Las Vegas.
