They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American Daniel Hamilton (201-1995, college: UConn) who scored 25 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. American-Filipino forward Nicholas Evans (210-1988, college: S.Indiana, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was international swingman Gael Bonilla (204-2003) who recorded 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Caballeros de Culiacan is looking forward to face Astros in Guadalajara in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jared Wilson-Frame contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Aaron Harrison (198-1994, college: Kentucky) answered with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for Obregon. Pioneros Los Mochis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon will play at home against Los Mochis (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
