Ostioneros de Guaymas (CIBACOPA) added to their roster 26-year old American point guard Quade Green (183cm-1998, college: Washington). He started the season at Sameji in Santiago League in Dominican Republic. The last season he played at Golden Eagle Ylli in Kosovan Superliga where in 10 Santiago League games he had 10.3ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.1apg.
He represented USA at the FIBA Americas Championship U18 in Valdivia (Chile) nine years ago. His team won Gold and he had almost 5 points per game.
Green is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in six different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. Green has played previously professionally in Kosovo, United Kingdom (Gladiators), Venezuela (Centauros), Mexico (Halcones Rojos) and NBA G League (OKC Blue, Maine Celtics, Grand Rapids Gold and Osceola Magic).
Among many awards he won Dominican Republic LNB championship title in 2023. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic LNB Honorable Mention in 2024.
Green graduated from University of Washington in 2021 and it is his fourth season as a professional player. He played also for University of Kentucky for 2 years.
