Adams is back at Adelitas

Danielle Adams

Adelitas de Chihuahua (LNBPF) signed experienced 36-year old American center Danielle Adams (185cm-1989, college: Texas A&M). She joins another USA player Alisia Jenkins who is already in the roster.
It is actually her comeback to Chihuahua as she has played here before. She just played at Adana Basketbol in Turkish TKBL. In 16 games she had very impressive stats: 22.3ppg, 9.4rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1spg last season. Good year as she was named League Player of the Week (2 times). The last season summer she played at Real Esteli in Nicaraguan league.
In 2011 she was drafted by San Antonio Silver Stars (WNBA) in second round (20th overall).
The former Texas A&M University star is in her 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Adams is quite experienced player. She has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Adams has played previously professionally in France (Bourges), Israel (Maccabi Bnot Ashdod, ASA Jerusalem and Elitzur Holon), Italy (Pozzuoli) and WNBA (Connecticut Sun and S.Antonio SS).
Among many awards she won Mexican LNBPF championship title in 2023. She was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBPF Player of the Year and Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBPF Import Player of the Year in 2024.
It's very possible she may end her playing career at Adelitas. Adams played also for Jefferson Community College for 2 years.
