Isaiah Williams (ex CPN) joins Los Mochis

Pioneros de Los Mochis (CIBACOPA) agreed terms with 29-year old American guard Isaiah Williams (188cm-79kg-1995, college: Georgia State, agency: Octagon Europe). He started the season at Pueblo Nuevo in Santiago League in Dominican Republic. The last season he played at AS Vikos Ioanninon in Greek Elite League where in three Santiago League games he had 12.7ppg, 3.3rpg and 7.0apg.
He is quite experienced player. Williams' career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in ten different countries. Williams tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Bulgaria (Yambol), Greece, Iraq (Air Defence Sporting Club), Iran (Kerman), Malaysia (NS Matrix), Poland (Kociewskie Diably), Romania (Valcea), Ukraine (Khimik) and The Basketball Tournament (War Ready).
Among many awards his team made it to the ASEAN League Semifinals in 2023. Williams was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Iranian Superleague 2nd Team back in 2022.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
Williams graduated from Georgia State in 2018 and it is his seventh season as a professional player. He played also for Samford University for one year.
