Canty is back at Obregon, ex H.Kfar Saba

Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (CIBACOPA) agreed terms with 29-year old American forward Jalen Canty (203cm-116kg-1995, college: UCSB, agency: Haylett Sports). It is actually his comeback to Halcones de Ciudad Obregon as he has played here before. He moved there from H.Kfar Saba in Israeli Artzit. In 14 games he had very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 10.7rpg, 2.2apg, 1.4spg and 1.3bpg last season. He also played for another Israeli team Elitzur Ironi Ashkelon (National League) in Israel.
Canty is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in five different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America. Canty has played previously professionally also in Australia (Spartans), Austria (Gunners Oberwart), Finland (Bisons), Germany (Kirchheim Knights) and Israel (Maccabi Raanana and Maccabi Ma'ale Adumim).
Among many awards he won Finnish 1st Division A championship title in 2021. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Honorable Mention back in 2022.
Canty graduated from University of California Santa Barbara in 2018 and it is his seventh season as a professional player. He played for other colleges like: City College of San Francisco, Casper College.
