Davis number one in Mexican LNBPF for round 3

American Guard Rennia Davis (188-G-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for El Calor, receiving a Hoops Agents LNBPF Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, nine rebounds and six assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass Freseras (2-2) with 32-point margin 107-75. El Calor maintains the 3rd position in Mexican LNBPF. El Calor is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Davis had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at El Calor, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former University of Tennessee star has very solid stats this year. Davis is in league's top in points (7th best: 18.3ppg), rebounds (7th best: 8.0rpg) and averages impressive 2.3spg and 57.9% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was American Jaquaya Miller (190-C) of Freseras Irapuato. Miller had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Freseras lost that game 75-107 to El Calor (2-2). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Miller is one of the most experienced players at Freseras and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.0ppg (#6). Her other stats are also decent: 9.8rpg and 3.3apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Delicia Washington (178-G-1997) of Fuerza Regia Femenil (#8). Washington scored 28 points and passed 6 assists. Despite Washington's great performance the Fuerza Regia lost 76-85 to Adelitas (#1, 4-0). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. Fuerza Regia can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-3 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Washington has individually a great season in Mexico. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.5ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 6.8rpg (9th best) and assists with 5.3apg (4th best).
