Best players of Mexican LNBPF round 6 (by Hoops Agents)

American Jaquaya Miller (190-C) had an amazing evening in the last round for Freseras Irapuato and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents LNBPF Player of the Week award for round 6.
The center had a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds, while her team edged out El Calor (2-2) 97-93. Freseras maintains the 5th position in Mexican LNBPF. Freseras is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Miller had a remarkable 53.3% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Freseras, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of Colorado graduate has very impressive stats this year. Miller is in league's top in points (6th best: 19.0ppg) and rebounds (2nd best: 9.8rpg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American swingman Iimar'I Thomas (178-G/F-2000) of El Calor. Thomas impressed basketball fans with 36 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as El Calor was edged by Freseras (2-2) 97-93. El Calor managed to keep the same 3rd spot in the standings. Her team's 2-2 record is not bad at all. Thomas is one of the most experienced players at El Calor and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.0ppg (#3). She also registered 5.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Sara Dickey (177-G/F-1995) of Abejas de Leon (#6). Dickey got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. She went also for five rebounds and ten assists. Despite Dickey's great performance the Abejas lost 73-82 to the higher-ranked Rojas (#2, 3-1). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. Abejas can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Dickey has individually a great season in Mexico. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.3ppg (8th best).
