Best players of Mexican LNBPF round 9 (by Hoops Agents)

American Dyaisha Fair (165-PG-2001) had a great game in the last round for El Calor and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents LNBPF Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 23-year old playmaker got a double-double of 33 points and 10 assists, while her team outclassed Abejas (#7, 1-7) with 45-point margin 109-64. El Calor is placed at 4th position in Mexican LNBPF. El Calor is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-4 record. In the team's last game Fair had a remarkable eight three-pointers out of 13 attempts. She just recently signed at El Calor, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Syracuse University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Fair is in league's top in points (2nd best: 18.0ppg), assists (3rd best: 6.1apg) and averages solid 43.5% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Jaime Nared (188-G-1995) of Fuerza Regia Femenil. Nared impressed basketball fans with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Of course she led Fuerza Regia to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Rojas (#6, 3-5) 95-72. This victory allowed Fuerza Regia to move up to 3rd position in the standings. Her team's 5-3 record is not bad at all. Nared is one of the most experienced players at Fuerza Regia and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Angela Tompkins (188-F-1991) of Rojas de Veracruz (#6). Tompkins showcased her all-around game by recording 20 points, 17 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Tompkins' great performance the Rojas lost 72-95 to the higher-ranked Fuerza Regia (#3, 5-3). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Rojas not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 5 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Tompkins could try to bring Rojas' a little bit higher in the standings. Tompkins has individually a great season in Mexico. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.6rpg (5th best).
