Jared Wilson-Frame (196-1996, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Interperformances) nailed 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and guard Andrew Harrison (198-1994, college: Kentucky) accounted for 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Joshua Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Alex Kaye Williams (203-1993) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Tijuana Zonkeys in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tijuana Zonkeys' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.

Angeles dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Rayos de Hermosillo's 42. They outrebounded Rayos de Hermosillo 45-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. Angeles looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Swingman Will Yoakum (196-1998, college: Nova SE) stepped up and scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and forward Daytone Jennings (206-1997, college: CSUSB, agency: SLN) chipped in 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Rohndell Goodwin (195-1991, college: Chaminade, agency: Players Group) responded with 31 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and TJ Clark (193-2003) scored 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists. Five Angeles and four Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
