Jones' 19 points and 8 rebounds give her LNBPF Player of the Week award

25-year old American guard Morgan Jones (188-G-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Fuerza Regia Femenil and receives a Hoops Agents LNBPF Player of the Week award for round 13.
She had the game-high 19 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Fuerza Regia in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Abejas (#8, 1-10) with 45-point margin 97-52. Fuerza Regia maintains the 3rd position in Mexican league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Fuerza Regia will need more victories to improve their 8-3 record. Jones just recently signed at Fuerza Regia, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Morgan Jones averages this season 14.8ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Rennia Davis (188-G-1999) of El Calor. She is American guard in her first season at El Calor. In the last game Davis recorded an impressive double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as El Calor was edged by slightly higher-ranked Panteras (#2, 10-2) 87-83. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. El Calor still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-7 record. Davis is one of the most experienced players at El Calor and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.9ppg (#8). She also registered 8.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Alisia Jenkins (186-F-1994) of league's leader Adelitas de Chihuahua. Jenkins scored 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Adelitas, leading her team to a 78-65 easy win against the lower-ranked Freseras (#5, 5-7). Many experts and fans count Adelitas as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 11 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Jenkins has a great season in Mexico. After 11 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.3rpg (#1 in league).
