Fuerza Regia Monterrey (LNBP) signed Brandon Paul, a 34-year-old American swingman who stands at 193cm tall. Paul, who played college basketball at Illinois and is represented by Pensack Sports, most recently played for Chalon/Saone in the French Betclic ELITE ProA league. In 15 games last season, he averaged 13.9ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.1spg. Prior to that, he also had a stint with JL Bourg in the same league, where he played 11 games and averaged 7.3ppg and 1.8rpg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Paul is a very experienced player, having played professionally in twelve different countries on four continents thanks to pro basketball. He has experience in European, Asian, Australian, and North American leagues. Paul has played for teams in Australia (Adelaide 36ers), China (Heroes and Golden Bulls), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm), Greece (Olympiacos), Montenegro (Buducnost), Russia (BC Pari Nizhny Novgorod), Spain (Joventut), Turkey (Efes), NBA (Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs), NBA G League (Cleveland Charge), and The Basketball Tournament (Team Hines).
In 2016, he was voted to Eurobasket.com Spanish Liga Endesa All-Imports Team. In 2024, his team made it to the Adriatic League Semifinals.
He graduated from the University of Illinois in 2013 and it'll be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
