Shawnta Shaw

ZKK Cinkarna Celje (SKL) agreed terms with American guard Shawnta Shaw (157cm, college: Jax State, agency: Interperformances) for new 2025-26 season. Shaw played this summer at Abejas in Mexican LNBPF. In 8 games just recently she had 10.1ppg, 3.4rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4spg. The last season she played at Musel Pikes where in 24 Luxembourg games she was league's third best scorer with impressive 23.2ppg and averaged 10.4rpg, 3.8apg and 2.1spg (in top 5). A very impressive season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Luxembourg League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
She has played also professionally in Iceland (Snaefell).
Her team won A-Sun West Division Regular Season in 2022.
Shaw graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2023 and it will be her third season as a professional player. She played also for Troy University for 2 years.
