30-year old American guard Michael Smith (193-G-1995) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Diablos Rojos del Mexico and receives a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had the game-high 18 points adding three rebounds and five assists for Diablos in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Freseros (#11, 1-3) with 56-point margin 122-66. It allowed Diablos to consolidate first place in the Mexican LNBP. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Diablos already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Smith had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Diablos, through which he has constantly improved. Michael Smith averages this season 15.5ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Scott Bamforth (188-SG-1989) of Fuerza Regia Monterrey. He is Kosovan-American guard in his first season at Fuerza Regia. In the last game Bamforth recorded an impressive 23 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Fuerza Regia lost that game 75-82 to the lower-ranked El Calor (#10, 1-3). This loss caused Fuerza Regia to drop to 4th position in the standings. His team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. Bamforth is one of the most experienced players at Fuerza Regia and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.8ppg (#9).

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Martin Fernandez (195-F/G-1997) of El Calor de Cancun (#10). Fernandez scored 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of El Calor, leading his team to a 82-75 win against the higher-ranked Fuerza Regia (#4, 3-1). El Calor can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Fernandez has a very solid season. In 4 games in Mexico he scored 14.8ppg.
