American Alphonso Anderson (198-F-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Diablos Rojos del Mexico and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 28-year old forward had the game-high 19 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for Diablos in his team's victory, helping them to crush Dorados (#4, 4-2) with 20-point margin 110-90. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Diablos is placed at 2nd position in Mexican LNBP. They are still close to the very top. Diablos would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. Anderson has many years of experience at Diablos, through which he has constantly improved. University of Pacific graduate has very impressive stats this year. Anderson is in league's top in points (9th best: 15.5ppg) and averages solid 68.0% FGP and 48.5% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Lewis Sullivan (201-F-1995, agency: BIG) of Fuerza Regia Monterrey. Sullivan impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Fuerza Regia was edged by the lower-ranked Freseros (#9, 2-4) 86-82. This loss caused Fuerza Regia to drop to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 4-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Sullivan is one of the most experienced players at Fuerza Regia and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Anthony Pritchard (188-G) of Santos de San Luis Potosi (#14). Pritchard showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Pritchard's great performance the Santos lost 90-96 to the higher-ranked Gambusinos (#7, 3-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Santos can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-5 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Pritchard has a very solid season. In 6 games in Mexico he scored 13.2ppg. He also has 6.0rpg, 4.2apg and a FGP of 55.6%.
