Hamilton's 19 points and 6 rebounds give him Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award

31-year old American guard Isaac Hamilton (196-G-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Mineros de Zacatecas and receives a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had the game-high 19 points adding six rebounds and five assists for Mineros in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Freseros (#10, 2-4) with 41-point margin 102-61. Thanks to this victory Mineros moved-up to the 3rd position in Mexican LNBP. They are still close to the very top. Mineros would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Hamilton had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Mineros, through which he has constantly improved. Isaac Hamilton averages this season 9.6ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Kwame Vaughn (190-PG-1990) of Gambusinos de Fresnillo. He is American guard in his first season at Gambusinos. In the last game Vaughn recorded an impressive 28 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Gambusinos to edge the lower-ranked Halc.Xalapa (#11, 2-4) by 4 points 90-86. This victory allowed Gambusinos to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Vaughn is one of the most experienced players at Gambusinos and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.9ppg (#3). He also recorded 3.4 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Stedmon Lemon (198-F/G-1992) of Panteras de Aguascalientes (#13). Lemon scored 26 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Lemon's great performance the Panteras lost 76-84 to the higher-ranked Astros (#9, 2-1). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Panteras can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-5 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Lemon has a very solid season. In 8 games in Mexico he scored 15.0ppg.
