Banovici inks Yarelli Padilla, ex Libelulas

ZKK RMU Banovici (Division I) signed 27-year old Mexican point guard Yarelli Padilla (164cm-1998) for upcoming 2025-26 season. Padilla played this summer at Libelulas in Mexican LMBPF. In 12 games just recently she had 5.3ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.3apg. She helped them to make it to the Mexican League final after they ended regular season as second best team.
Padilla was a member of Mexican U18 National Team back in 2016.
She has played previously professionally in Mexico (Mieleras and Halcones) and Bosnia (Lavovi).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina Guard of the Year in 2024.
