American Power forward Stephon Jelks (198-PF-1996) had a great game in the last round for Fuerza Regia Monterrey, receiving a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 29-year old player was the main contributor (23 points, eight rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Santos (#14, 1-9) with 21-point margin 103-82. Fuerza Regia is placed at 3rd position in Mexican LNBP. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Fuerza Regia will need more victories to improve their 7-3 record. In the team's last game Jelks had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at Fuerza Regia, through which he has constantly improved. Stephon Jelks averages this season 4.2ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Malik Toppin (206-C-1997) of El Calor de Cancun. Toppin had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for El Calor to edge the higher-ranked Soles (#1, 8-1) 89-87. Despite this victory El Calor slide down in the standings to 8th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Toppin is one of the most experienced players at El Calor and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Former Salem University star Toppin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Michael Myers (206-F-1992, agency: Diamond Sports) of Dorados de Chihuahua (#6). Myers scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Myers' great performance the Dorados lost 79-88 to slightly higher-ranked Mineros (#4, 7-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Dorados needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 4 lost games. Myers has a great season in Mexico. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.8rpg (8th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
