Tofas keep Perez-Kaufmann for another season

Alexander Perez-Kaufmann

Tofas Bursa (BSL) re-signed 32-year old Mexican-American ex-international 191cm point guard Alexander Perez-Kaufmann for season 2025-26. Perez-Kaufmann played there last season. In 29 BSL games he recorded 14.7ppg, 3.0rpg and 6.3apg (top 2). Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week and selected to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Third Team. He also played 13 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 10.6ppg, 4.1rpg and 6.3apg. Perez-Kaufmann helped them to make it to the quarterfinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com FIBA Europe Cup Honorable Mention.
He was also selected to Latinbasket.com Mexican LNBP All-Domestic Players Team back in 2015 and 2017.
The previous (2023-24) season he played at Buyukcekmece. In 28 BSL games he had 14.3ppg, 3.2rpg, 6.8apg (top 3) and 1.1spg in that year.
He also represented Mexico at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla (Colombia) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 7.3ppg, 2.7rpg, 3.0apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 35.3%, 3PT: 42.9%, FT: 50.0%.
He is a very experienced player. Perez-Kaufmann has played also professionally in Argentina (San Lorenzo), Israel (Next Urban Maccabi Haifa), Latvia (VEF Riga), Lithuania (Zalgiris), Venezuela (Bucaneros), Turkey (Turk Telekom, Fenerbahce, Bandirma, Konyaspor and Bahcesehir) and Mexico (Soles).
He won Argentinian LigaA championship title in 2017. Perez-Kaufmann was also voted to Latinbasket.com Mexican LNBP All-Domestic Players Team back in 2015 and 2017.
