American Swingman Chavaughn Lewis (195-G/F-1993) put on an amazing game in the last round for Astros de Jalisco, receiving a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 32-year old player was the main contributor (26 points, five rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat El Calor (#9, 4-8) 95-85. Astros maintains the 5th position in Mexican LNBP. They are still close to the very top. Astros would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-1 record. In the team's last game Lewis had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Astros' top player in his first season with the team. Former Marist College star has very solid stats this year. Lewis is in league's top in points (8th best: 14.8ppg) and averages impressive 55.3% FGP and 47.6% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young Senegalese Serigne Barro (208-C-1995) of Panteras de Aguascalientes. Barro had a very good evening with a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led Panteras to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Correcaminos (#12, 3-9) 95-73. Panteras' 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-7 record. Barro is a newcomer at Panteras, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Tyren Johnson (202-PF-1988) of Dorados de Chihuahua (#6). Johnson scored 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Dorados, leading his team to a 83-74 win against the lower-ranked Abejas (#11, 3-7). Dorados needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 4 lost games. Johnson has a very solid season. In 12 games in Mexico he scored 13.8ppg. He also has 5.0rpg, a FGP of 55.4% and 3PT: 47.6%.

4. Josh Perkins (191-G-1995) of Dorados - 25 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists
5. Torren Jones (206-F/C-1994) of Santos - 17 points and 13 rebounds

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
