Best players of Mexican LNBP round 13

Experienced American Chavaughn Lewis (195-G/F-1993) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Astros de Jalisco and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 32-year old swingman had the game-high 26 points adding five rebounds and four assists for Astros in his team's victory, helping them to crush Freseros (#13, 3-11) with 16-point margin 82-66. Astros is placed at 4th position in Mexican LNBP. Astros has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 10-1. In the team's last game Lewis had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Astros' top player in his first season with the team. Marist College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Lewis is league's best scorer averaging so far 16.8ppg. Lewis is in league's top in and averages solid 58.1% FGP and 40.6% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Trinidad and Tobago center Jabari Narcis (206-C-1997, agency: MSG) of Gambusinos de Fresnillo. Narcis impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Gambusinos was edged by the higher-ranked Mineros (#3, 11-3) 104-100. Gambusinos managed to keep the same 9th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-9 record. Narcis is a newcomer at Gambusinos and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Dakota Quinn (206-C-1997) of Abejas de Leon (#11). Quinn scored 27 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was a key player of Abejas, leading his team to a 91-87 win against the lower-ranked Santos (#14, 2-12). The chances of Abejas not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Quinn could try to bring Abejas' a little bit higher in the standings. Quinn has a very solid season. In 12 games in Mexico he scored 11.7ppg. He also has 6.6rpg, 1.3bpg and a FGP of 54.5%.
