American Guard Terrell Brown (185-G-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for Panteras de Aguascalientes, receiving a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 27-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, three rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Freseros (#13, 3-13) 93-89. Panteras is placed at 8th position in Mexican LNBP. Panteras is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-9 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Panteras' top player in his first season with the team. Former New Mexico State University star has very solid stats this year. Brown is in league's top in points (3rd best: 16.4ppg).

The second best player in last round's games was young American Darnell Brodie (208-F-1998) of Freseros Irapuato. Brodie had a very good evening with a double-double of 29 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Freseras was edged by the higher-ranked Panteras (#8, 7-9) 93-89. Freseros is still in a red zone at 13th spot in the standings. 13 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Freseras managed to get this year. Brodie is a newcomer at Freseros and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Jimond Ivey (196-G-1996) of El Calor de Cancun (#10). Ivey got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. Despite Ivey's great performance the El Calor lost 83-84 to slightly lower-ranked Correcaminos (#11, 5-11). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of El Calor not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 10 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ivey could try to bring El Calor's a little bit higher in the standings. Ivey has a very solid season. In 16 games in Mexico he scored 11.4ppg. He also has 4.2rpg and a FGP of 57.0%.
