Henriquez's 16 points and 7 assists give him LNBP Player of the Week award

31-year old USA-DOMn guard Adonys Henriquez (201-G-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Soles de Mexicali and receives a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 17.
He had the game-high 16 points adding three rebounds and seven assists for Soles in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Gambusinos (#10, 7-11) with 29-point margin 107-78. It allowed Soles to consolidate first place in the Mexican LNBP. Soles have a solid 16-2 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Henriquez as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Adonys Henriquez averages this season 8.4ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Damien Daniels (170-PG-2000) of Correcaminos UAT Victoria. He is American guard in his first season at Correcaminos. In the last game Daniels recorded an impressive 17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Correcaminos to another comfortable win 101-85 over the lower-ranked Freseros (#13, 3-15) being unquestionably team leader. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Correcaminos managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 9th place. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-11 record. Daniels is a newcomer at Correcaminos and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Thad McFadden (188-G-1987) of Halcones UV Xalapa (#7). McFadden scored 26 points. He was a key player of Halcones UV Xalapa, leading his team to a 92-78 easy win against the lower-ranked El Calor (#11, 6-12). The chances of Halc.Xalapa ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 10 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, McFadden could help Halc.Xalapa to bring them higher in the standings. McFadden has a very solid season. In 14 games in Mexico he scored 12.4ppg.
