Gonzalez number one in Mexican LNBP for round 19 (by Hoops Agents)

Argentinian Guard Luciano Gonzalez (194-G-1990) had a great game in the last round for Diablos Rojos del Mexico, receiving a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 35-year old player was the main contributor (22 points, five rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Abejas (#12, 4-14) with 26-point margin 104-78. Diablos maintains the 3rd position in Mexican LNBP. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Diablos will need more victories to improve their 14-4 record. In the team's last game Gonzalez had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Luciano Gonzalez averages this season 10.9ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Kenneth Horton (201-F-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) of Mineros de Zacatecas. Horton had a very good evening with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Of course Mineros cruised to a 85-76 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Fuerza Regia (#5, 12-6). Despite this victory Mineros slide down in the standings to 4th position. His team's 13-5 record is not bad at all. Horton is a newcomer at Mineros, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Diablos' star - international swingman Gael Bonilla (204-G/F-2003). Bonilla showcased his all-around game by recording 9 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Diablos Rojos del Mexico, helping his team with a 107-70 easy win against the lower-ranked Abejas (#12, 4-14). Diablos needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 14 victories and 4 lost games. Bonilla has a very solid season. In 16 games in Mexico he scored 7.6ppg. He also has 5.2rpg and a FGP of 55.4%.
