Webster's 23 points and 7 assists give him Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award

28-year old American guard Joshua Webster (190-G-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Soles de Mexicali and receives a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 21.
He had the game-high 23 points adding seven rebounds and seven assists for Soles in his team's victory, helping them to crush Diablos (#3, 14-6) with 21-point margin 76-55. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Soles to take over top position in the Mexican LNBP. Soles has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 18-2. In the team's last game Webster had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Missouri State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Webster is league's best passer with 7.3apg. Webster is in league's top in and averages solid 54.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jimond Ivey (196-G-1996) of El Calor de Cancun. He is American guard in his first season at El Calor. In the last game Ivey recorded an impressive 18 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led El Calor to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Freseros (#13, 3-17) 104-64. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. El Calor keeps 10th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-12 record. Ivey is a newcomer at El Calor and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Akia Pruitt (203-PF-1997) of Dorados de Chihuahua (#6). Pruitt scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Dorados, leading his team to a 96-85 win against the lower-ranked Correcaminos (#9, 8-12). Dorados needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 8 lost games. Pruitt has a very solid season. In 8 games in Mexico he scored 8.0ppg. He also has 4.6rpg, a FGP of 51.7% and 3PT: 56.3%.
